Hello!

Hey guys! (Brian and Lisa :P)

Things in Hamilton have been great. This week is the last week of classes, then students have study week and exam weeks. So students are becoming busier and busier and less and less available. It's hard to believe things are winding down! And while things are winding down, we're just starting to plan for next year. So although things are slowing down, they're already starting to move forward for next year, which exciting! Please pray for my staff team as we start to evaluate this past year and plan for next year, for me as I say good-bye to students and prepare to go home, and for support raising for next year. Thanks!

Take care, friends!

Hi lees

Nobody else posts.

It's my homepage so I always see it though.

dying webpage?

I have a feeling that this webpage is goign to die now that Bish has left the mission field.

I realize that St. Louis can be a mission field too but you know what I mean.

Hello from Hamilton!

Hey everyone who actually reads this occasionally!

I must start by sayings that Lisa and Bish have the most exciting life of anyone I know because they are constantly traveling to new exotic places and doing all the fun things that are associated with traveling...like trying new foods and taking pictures with various large animals and statues. :)

Life in Hamilton, New Zealand is going pretty well! We are actually only halfway through the school year! But it's been really cool to see how much God has done and to think about all the awesome relationships He's blessed me with here! We actually have our big Mid-Year conference starting this Saturday. It's the equivalent of Christmas Conference in the states...except there will be closer to 150ish students there. I'm really looking forward to it though, because all the students rave about how much fun is had there. Please be praying for the students and staff. Pray for energy, good health, open hearts, and changed lives (and anything else you want to pray for!!)

That's all I've got for now!

Keep on keeping on! It's such a worthwhile race we are running!

Love in Him,
Laura

to Africa

Well I'm taking off for Africa today to do more recording! My first time in Africa! I'm a lil scared about food! One guy told us we'd get to eat locusts....yay! And lots of pounded yams too. You can't get too much of that stuff...... Other than that I expect it will be an awesome time!

It's supposed to be around 110-115 degrees during the day, with lows of 95 or so at night. Cuh-razy.

Anyways I'm stoked and don't have time to write much else right now.

Pray for a smooth recording!

Netherlands!

I think Rome returned, and I don't know how long until Wellington gets back. If Pat or Padiak checks this, I'd love to get an update from either of them on the state of ministry at U of Illinois.

I'm doing great, still pumped for seminary and preparing for my last JF trip, to Holland. It's going to be awesome seeing Europe! And who would've thought that, with over 1000 languages done for the JF, that DUTCH would not be completed yet? Dutch is a big language! Anyway, I am excited because it seems Holland needs the Gospel as bad as the pygmies in PNG do.

Talk to you all in a bit - Leadiak is getting married and I bet most of us will be there.

To seminary next

Howdy!

I got a full ride to seminary, which blows my mind. Praise the Lord! I'm really excited for it.

I got back from PNG Thursday and am about finished with my jetlaggin'. We put the JF into a language for about 300,000 people. The people there are all 'Christian', but also kill each other in tribal warfare. It's 300 miles wide and 2 inches deep, and they really need good pastors to get the people there to really follow Jesus. Hopefully, the JF will give them a feel for what being a Christian really means.

I hope to hear all of your updates!
